Description: In this tutorial you will learn how to create a dirty grunge effect using the blending of colors by images(renders) used with the your document.

1. Open up a new Document no matter what size, Sizes will vary due to type of document.
Make sure to start with a white canvas.

2. Take out your brush tool and pick a nice grunge brush and start brushing until the canvas is filled, Make a couple brushed layers if you please, this will would make an even dirtier grunge looking image, make sure the brush color is black!

3. Take Out your render, Make sure it has a dark texture to it to acheive the optimum effect. I'm using this one:

4. Place your render in your document

5. Duplicate your render layer and make sure the original render layer is above it, then go to Filter>Blur>Motion Blur, make sure its angle is 45 and distance is 50, then just keep duplicating the motion blur layers till they cover the whole canvas.

6, Set all motion blurred layers to overlay and you have you dirty grunge effect, pick darker brushes next time around to inhance you outcome.

Also, Try different things like a darker render or putting more than one render blurred layer over a particular spot, Heres another I cam up with.
